Biography
As the Managing Director of Research of Mason Wells Buyout Funds, Mr. Davidson is responsible for the industry and economic analyses that underlie the firm’s investment and portfolio development activities. In this capacity, Mr. Davidson supports market due diligence for new investments, helps develop growth initiatives for portfolio companies, tracks developments in the firm’s key markets, and cultivates the firm’s broader viewpoint on target industries.
Mr. Davidson has over two decades of market research, mergers & acquisitions, and operating experience. He joined Mason Wells in 2015 after 5 years at Rexnord; a Milwaukee-based diversified industrial company. At Rexnord, Mr. Davidson served as the research lead in the Corporate Development office and held market strategy roles in the firm’s Process & Motion Control and Water Management platforms. Mr. Davidson began his career at Investor Group Services, a Boston-based strategy consulting firm that provides M&A business diligence to middle-market private equity and corporate clients.
Mr. Davidson received a Master of Business Administration degree from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Dartmouth.
